at tanya's insistence, ill talk about how gorgeous her school is. i totally meant to.
Carnegie Mellon is fucking gorgeous. Absolutely, breathtakingly gorgeous. And the city (Pittsburgh) is very nice. It's kind of like Mill Basin in Brooklyn - upper class, and kind of suburban. At least the part of the city I saw. Pictures soon, once I get/find a USB cable for my camera.
EDIT:
so i got the last of my grades, and as of now (im protesting my PPP grade, not because its the lowest grade or stupid shit like that, but because i deserved a better grade in the class. simple as that), my grades are as follows
Honors English Comp 1: A
Honors Core 3 (People Power Politics): B+
Theatre 2: A-
Japanese 301 (Advanced): A-
Current Overall GPA: 3.65
And once i get the PPP grade changed to the A or A- i fucking deserve (i dont know what i got on the final or final paper. so even though i thought i did AMAZINGLY on them, i very well might deserve an A-. fucking doubt it though), my GPA changes to either 3.86 or 3.77, respectively. motherfucker, i hate professor johnson.
And on a final, happier note, this is my Spring 2005 schedule:
Honors English Comp 2
English - Seminar in Modernism (Gay and Lesbian Literature)
Intro to Sociology
Women's Studies - The Lesbian Experience
I also might be taking Japanese Culture at Hunter. We'll see.
