I hope that today we all took a moment to think of what this day of from work and school really means - what Memorial day is all about. If you haven't yet, please take a moment to do so.
Many brave people have died defending this country and protecting freedom around the world. Let us remember those who fought not only in more current wars, but let us also remember those who died to found this country and those who perished to keep it together years later.
We miss all those who have died, but they are not gone. They will never be "gone" - so long as we remember.
