I don't understand.
If you have the resources available to you, then why not use them? Especially if you need it, or something calls for it. NOt using available resources just doesn't make sense.
I hold great disdain towards new age mumbojumbo. The "law of attraction" is a bunch of bs.
So not using the mixer, a whisk, or at least a fork, when all are available and the recipe calls for a mixer - is stupid. There is no logical reason why one would not. If you were worried about having more stuff to clean up, then you could at least use the fork, wash it then use it to eat some later or something.
But this holds even larger implications - if you are sick and the doctor offers you medicine, with few minor side effects, would you not take it to save your life? Would you not use all available resources to improve the situation? Why would you say what comes comes, when you could have control over the situation, or at minimum guide it?
While thinking positive thoughts does improve life - thinking about something only and living as if you have it, may offer some positive things, but in the end you don't have it, aren't going to get it, and if you could have been working towards the goal another way - you just wasted, at minimum time, at maximum your life and the lives of others.
Say you are sick and dieing of cancer. Thinking that you are healed will not make you better, it may improve your quality of life for a while, but if you discontinue/refuse treatment that could save you, because you are "saved," you have just killed yourself.
This new age stuff is just inflating egos and making people more narcissistic. I say do it the "old fashioned way" and work - use your hands, back, arms, and mind, and physically do something, don't just sit there and think that in time all will come to you. Because yes, in time something will come - and that something is death. Stop being so pig headed and conceited - grow up and face the facts. Life isn't easy, if it was it would be horrible, stop trying to create a utopia and start living life - use this one, its the only one you have.
