Late Intro and TTGL Collection Pics
Hey guys, I've been a lurker to this comm for a few years now and only just recently have begun to comment, so I thought I might as well give myself an introduction to the members who I haven't met yet :D. Gurren Lagann has been a favorite of mine ever since I first started watching it on Syfy back in 2008, and, like most crazed fans, I started to amass a good deal of figures, art books, and other merchandise to create a shrine worthy of my love for it.
After the Yoko and Nia Dollfie Dreams were released in 2009, I sort of gave up on collecting any more figures from GL since I knew I'd never have enough patience to save up enough to buy them both, and because I'd been putting all my focus on collecting stuff from various other anime. As much as I wanted them both, not being able to get either of them put a damper on my TTGL love for a little while up until Parallel Works 2 was announced as well as the U.S. release of Gurren-hen and Lagann-hen.
I decided right then that I'd stop screwing around and finish the collection that I started two years back, and also re-watch Gurren Lagann in it's entirety for the second time. I'm glad to say that after an entire summer of working and saving money, I've been able to get both DD Yoko and Nia along with all of the other character figures I'd been missing. Now, finally, all I have left to collect are the mecha figures and some garage kits. Being patient and saving up money was a major pain in the ass, but the payoff was well worth it. Seeing all of my favorite characters in 3D form together is incredibly epic, and I have a feeling that all the work put in to getting them is what made my second viewing of Gurren Lagann that much sweeter..
I wanted to share some pictures of my collection with you guys because I know that the members here love TTGL right down to it's manly core like I do, and I can't think of any other people who could better appreciate them. My username on both of those websites is Lelouch_CC (..yeah, not too creative when it comes to making up usernames..) xD Anyways, I hope you enjoy them..feels good to finally be an active member of this comm with all of you other awesome TTGL-loving people

Sooooo yeah, I'm obsessed ^^;.. If you guys aren't too freaked out by my TTGL nerdom, then I'll post some updates later on when any new figures arrive xD Hope you enjoyed the pics!
