Victorian Maiden beauty
The dress arrived today! Wow, it's SO perfect and beautiful. I must say I've seen very few lolita dresses this gorgeous IRL, and I saw quite a bunch while in Japan. It has got a deep red wine color (more like this, darker than what it looks like on the VM website) that looks great against pale skin. The back lacing adjusts to my waist and back perfectly, making an hourglass shape, like this kind of period dress. I was a bit afraid of it being too short or too long, as I had never tried on a VM dress before, but it's actually right on my knees :D
Overall, I'm extremely happy I spent the money on it. It has already become one of my favourite dresses, the quality is stunning (I adore how the color of the fabric changes a bit with light, as if it shined but without the ugly shiny factor), and I know I'll be buying more from Victorian Maiden on the future.
About the shopping service, I chose gosurori_order . Really fast, kind and attentive communication. They sent the package via EMS, lowered the value, marked as gift and wrapped the dress inside the package in a bag with a little note in it saying they were sending me "her old dress" :P it's an infallible way to avoid customs! Therefore, I really recommend them to people living in countries with harsh custom fees. I wanted the tags of the dress (I like to keep them, as I hardly buy anything lolita brand new), so they told me they'd send them via letter~
