we're off to see the wizard...

so last night was our recital. i cant believe i have been doing this for 12 years now and i have to say it was one of the best ones. i had so much fun. it has left me with mad blisters and an achy body, but it was worth it. so lets see here, the recital was the wizard of oz. the parts were:
dorothy: Kelsey
scarecrow: me
tinman: laura
lion: mercedes
bad witch: ash
good witch: stephanie
...and many more
everyone did so good. the quick changes were intense tho. i think me and laura had exactly 10 seconds to get our character costumes on during the monkey dance. so actI went really well and i think the dances all looked really good. same for actII. lets see i was in 8 dances ranging from tap to ballet to lyrical to clogging to jazz to my solo to another jazz and then finale. finale was adorable with the slide show, i was just sad that i had never brought in my baby pics :( but oh well.

i have the best friends in the world. i cant believe that they came and sat thru the whole recital. sylvia, megan, kenny, tighe, andrew and james all came with support and flowers. andrew even gave me this adorbale little duck. it meant so much to me that they came. i felt truely loved. so thanks guys again! i love u all!!!!

so after recital we headed to the omni. fun times just sitting around, talking and laughing at people. so then we all crashed and now im home relaxing after yesterday which was sooo long!
i have one more recital and thats it. its kinda sad but the memories will always last. i think im going to go take a shower and a nap now. later!
