a day to wear black

i'd admit why i really didn't go to school today, but you guys would laugh at me. so i'm keeping it under wraps.
you don't know how much it hurt me last night to see them lose. 3 straight games they lost. i don't understand it. they played great in the first, and then they lost it! when you're playing for something as big of a prize as the stanley cup, don't you think you'd give everything you have? and there were a few people that did do that: matt cooke, brendan morrison, jarkko ruutu, brandon reid, trent klatt, and brent sopel <--really proved me wrong. but there were just some others that, well, i was just extremely disappointed with.
ed jovanovski. he knows he can play great defense, so why was he just acting like the games were a stroll in the park every time the puck came near him?
dan cloutier. good god, i like this guy, but what happened? if the canucks got 30 shots in, they'd get MAYBE one goal, but if the wild got 5 shots, they'd have about 3 goals. he had no confidence at all.
markus naslund. took many stupid penalties, which a captain shoudln't do. he had his presence, but it was not as big as it usually was in the regular season. he knows he can play better than that.
mattias ohlund. slow as hell, and that's all i'm saying about him.
finally, todd bertuzzi. what? this guy was vancouver's hero a couple months ago, and now he's acting like he'd rather be somewhere else than at the hockey game. only in game 7 was he really hitting...he really had no physical presence, and he didn't score any goals. there's really no excuse for that.
after the wild's fourth goal i just couldn't take it, i turned the tv off and started crying. i'm going to miss my boys. and it sucks that i have to wait till playoff time to watch them.
the main thing i want out of this is for brendan to win a stanley cup. i would be the happiest, most proud girl in the world. i can only hope that happens. and as the cliche quote states....'there's always next year.'

go canucks go. thanks for everything.
