So, the day after Thanksgiving, Shane and I are walking into the gym to battle the turkey calories.
As you go in, you have to give your membership to the front door dude. So, we both give in our cards, which are swiped and begin to walk.
Then, the front door dude says to Shane, "Are you Maria?"
How could an obvious penis owner be named Maria or be confused for a Maria? So, Shane says no and points to me (the only possible Maria in the mix!)
Then, just then, the most AMAZING compliment happened. Front door dude says, "Woooow, good job! I thought it was a stolen card because you couldn't possibly be the girl in this picture. Wow, gooooooooooooood job! I can't even recognize you." A sincere compliment from a stranger.
Fuck you, calories. I won this round.
