Painted Veil

I just saw Painted Veil and I guess I can't really say how much I liked it without spoiling it, but it is so fantastic, so I'll try.

I always semi-loved Edward Norton and he was awesome in Hulk, and I always loved Naomi Watts because she is made of freaking awesome acting powers and beauty. And this movie was so spectacular.

I definitely recommend ( Read more... )

Need to see ALL OF THESE MOVIES. Dammit!

My dad has The Painted Veil at his house, which I never got around to watching. Twilight, I need to see this piece of the pop cultural phenomenon (and I heard it was at least better than the book, lol). Slumdog Millionaire looks like MY KIND OF MOVIE - and apparently everyone else's, too. Oh, Burn After Reading... well... I don't really know that much about it, whatever.

I've always wanted to see this movie because a) the trailer looked amazing and b) the soundtrack is one of my favourites. But sadly it was never released over here. =(

aww no that sucks. I've been meaning to see it for a very long time but kept missing my chances. I love the soundtrack too! And I mean after the movie its even greater. I've been looking for it online but can't seem to find it.

The Painted Veil is such a pretty movie and Ed Norton is so great.

Slumdog PWNS and I thought Burn After Reading was fun :)

Haven't seen Twilight yet but am hoping it is a good movie. The book was such a simple tale I think it should translate well into cinema :)

Yea Burn After Reading was fun, but just something about it made it not totally awesome. But it was pretty entertaining.

As for Twilight, yea. It was pretty much like seeing someone's fanfic come to life on screen.

hahah. it was pretty funny. I thought that I would be embarrassed watching them, and I was. But not as much as I thought I would be.
