I should probably feel bad that the only thing I've really achieved is beating my own record for the amount of alcohol consumed in a 48 hour period, but instead I'm going to sit and listen to The Postal Service and remember that it doesn't really matter.
I'm thinking about running a gig as my birthday "do" this year. I've been thinking about it for a while actually, but last night I was at a similar event at On The Rocks and while it's not exactly a glamorous place it does the job, and [perhaps more importantly] the place is pretty cheap to hire on a Saturday night. But I feel it's kinda a tricky subject - I'm not sure I feel entirely comfortable with asking people to come out and pay to celebrate my birthday, you know? So.. would you people pay (probably about £4/5) to come, considering there will be FINE bands and FINE music all evening?
