I'm sure you'll just blow this off as me being a bitch but whatever.
1.) people are probably starting bands because they have taken up the hobby of playing an instrument. Which is better than them sitting around on their lazy ass doing nothing like 95% of american teens do. Or they're starting one because they're realied they have talent. Or because they're bored and need something to fill the time. or because they simply love music. There might be other reasons as well but I'm sure at least one of those reasons mentioned are at the top of these peoples lists.
2.)I take slight offence to what you said about people always wearing band shirts, because I do wear band shirts quite often. But, if i do recall I think I saw YOU wearing a half the battle BAND shirt today. hmm... so just because you're more scene and GOD FORBID not a poser it's ok for you to wear band shirts but not others? I can understand if someones wardrobe offendes you because they're asscrack is hanging out of their pants or their nasty fat is handing out or something like that, but a simple shirt really pisses you off that much? That's a bit extreme.
3.)You're mad at people wearing good charlotte and simple plan shirts but why? They like that shitty stuff, well let them. I do recall us BOTH liking Good Charlotte two years ago. No one got pissed at us about that. Would you rather them be wearing shirts of the bands you like? Probably not, because from the way i perceive things, that would piss you off even more. You might be surprised but even shallow and mean people like music. Some of it good and some not. So hey wear band shirts. Big fucking deal. Honestly, waste your bitterness on something more meaningful.
I'm not trying to be a bitch, even though I'm sure that's how it will be taken as. But whatever. I'm not pissed that you vented in your journal or anything, because you're right. That's the correct place to vent. But, i'm just leaving my thoughts with you.
