(no subject)
contradictory to what i said in my previous entry, i decided to call alan.
after pacing around for like 2 hours, deciding what to say, I DID IT. here's how it went:
me: hi, is alan there?
him: this is. who is this?
me: you know that girl that always hangs out by your 4th hour and sometimes says "hi" to you?
him: yeah
me: well, this is her.
him: uh, how'd you get my number?
me: i looked it up.
him: okay.
me: i wanted to talk to you at school, but i guess i got scared. but yeah, i felt compelled to call you.
him: okay.
::silence::
him: uh my mom is on the other line, so i'll talk to you.. whatever.
me: okay. ::pauses::
me: well, i'll talk to you at school i guess. say hi to me or something.
him: okay.
me and him at the same time: bye.
WOW WOW WOW.
he totally sounds like a wigger on the phone. hah.
i called monica afterward and was like "OH MY GOD I CALLED THE HOT KID" and it was pretty funny.
i feel like an ass, but i feel accomlished too.
i hope he'll talk to me.
i looked him up in the phone book, he was listed. turns out he lives pretty close to me. i wouldn't have called him if he wasn't listed because telling him i got his number at school would have sounded way stalkerish. not that this whole thing wasn't..
ah.
i'll go back to watching movies now. then i'm going to bed.
