I'm not sure who coined the phrase "Happy New Year" but I think it's a bunch of bullshit. Well, ever since...Mary died other incidents have occurred. Sure, it's a new year, but it's also another year to make mistakes, burn bridges, the like. Sorry for those who have a different opinion, but I stand by mine that no new year is ever really that happy
