Yesterday I was asked the meaning of life. What exactly is the meaning of life? Of course, I could not answer but I thought about it. What is it we want to accomplish in life? Will it matter what we accomplished after we are gone? What is it we want to accomplish? Mansion in Beverly Hills? President of the firm? Ford Mustang Convertible GT in the garage? Wife and kids? How do you want to be remembered? Do you go through life for you or the world around you? Are you the leader who leads his troops into the heart of battle or are you just a follower who just sits in the back and waits? Of course, we can't have one or the other alone. What we can have is followers with the heart of leader. What is the meaning of life? I believe it is to live life to the fullest but make your life worth it. If someone were to write a biography about your life, would anyone want to read it? What satisfies me in life is helping others out. Helping others gives me a sense of need and satisfaction. That is all I need. What if everyone helped each other out? What if you stop and help the guy with a flat tire? An old lady trying to get her groceries in her car? Even a little toddler trying to walk? But this gets away from our safe zone. What if we live through life with a precaution about everything? How do you get around? If you walk through like this, you will never discover who you are. Sure I would like to live the American dream. Who wouldn't? Would you do it by pushing someone back down or would you take it fairly? Would you take the hard route or would you shortcut? Who would be stronger? The meaning of life is different for everyone. What do I want to accomplish in life? A country house or ranch down in Georgia with a wife and kids. I want to still be in touch with those who helped get me to where I am today (Which would be anyone reading this) because when I have a need, I would like them to be their for me because I would most certainly do all I could to be there for them. My final thought in this question is be the biggest impact you can be in each others life. Get to know and associate with bunches of different people even if they are out of your safe zone. Be cosmopolitan. In final reference, be like rain for wherever it touches, it affects it. Peace out Rowdy Rod
