so i was at pokey's going away party this past weekend because i didn't know he had so many damn hippies for friends. i mean.. he never really struck me as one before but i guess i was wrong. anyway, i forgot how the conversation came up but this one kid there (black shaggy hair, thick glasses, would be an emo kid if he didn't think he knew so much about the world.. you know the type) uh.. what? god damn long side notes... oh yeah. so this kid starts talking about how he hates cops and they're all scum eating bastards and blah blah blah. and not feeling in the mood to let manners stop me from opening my mouth, i sort of hopped into the conversation and said "c'mon now. they're not all like that and you know it. sure some are bastards but that could be said of any group of people." He continues repeating himself that no, they all suck and we'd be better off without them and they should all just disappear. i tell him that he says that now but who's he gonna call when someone robs him or who would he look for if someone was trying to mug him. and he says some bullshit about how he'd just be like "hey, man, you need some money? what do you need? blah blah" which made me want to vomit on him.
i ask him to think about the consequences if the cops were to seriously all just disappear at the drop of a hat and the fucking insanity that would ensue because people are retards and can't keep themselves in check. and he stands there for like two minutes (which is a long time in a discussion) staring at the sky thinking... and he comes back with "yeah, well all of that would be caused by greed due to capitalism and who keeps capitalism in check? the cops" and i just stared at him thinking "would pokey dislike me if i kicked his friends in the nads.." until he then went off about how he should be able to go into kroger and redistribute the food to who ever needs it but who stops him, the cops. which i dont know, if you ask me, sounds like a couple feet away from the communist and anarchy retards.
anyyyyway. the kid then went off again on how all the cops suck and so do all of the people in the armed services (though i think he just said army as a generalization) and they should all be done away with and that's when i just stopped talking because i have way too much military history in my family as well as in friendships to get into that without getting really pissed off.
i hate those radical super liberal "whitey's the devil" "down with all government" whatever the fuck you call them kids.
i especially hate anyone that thinks they or anyone else has to hate the kids going off to fight in the war just because they disagree with the war.
