My life updated...
Quiet a bit has changed since my last "My life" update post...
I finally got my own place. Its a nice 1 bedroom loft about a block away from my work. The carpet is a bit stained from the pervious occupiant but I can deal with it. It was kinda hard to tell Alex I wasn't going to rent another place with him but it was for the best. I couldn't take another year with all the shit talk, drama bullshit that surrounded him. Lets just say him and I had a bit of a falling out after I moved...haven't really talked with him that much afterwards but its probably for the best.
After the falling out I had with Alex I haven't really hung out with the group of friends that he and I associated with. I'm better off because in that group of friends there was zero loyalty to anyone. Everybody talked mad shit about each other behind their backs...it was enough to make you sick. I just needed to get away from it all so I just fell off the face of the earth. To fill the friend vacuum I've been hanging out with my Omaha friends and work buddies more. Just feels nice to be around people you know will have your back if shit goes down.
I stopped playing WoW hardcore which was getting pretty out of hand. I didn't realize how much that game dominated my life until I moved to my new place and couldn't play it again until I got my internet transfered over. I logged on after a 3 week hiatus from the game and realized this game was pointless and canceled my account. I later reactived my account to play around with the 3.0 patch for WotLK...I'll still play but only causally.
I recently took up my old hobby of Marksmen Shooting. My dad a couple of months ago decided to divide up his gun collection among my brothers and I. I inherited several shotguns, rifles, and pistol from him which rekindled my interests in firearms. So every now and then a couple of work buddies and I go out to the range and shoot stuff...pretty exciting =P
Played the shit out of Dead Space...I was really surprised how fun that game was because I never really heard anything about it until I saw a commercial for it. Gotta love a sleeper hit. Other good games are out/coming out like...Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, and Fallout 3. This is gonna be a busy month for gaming thats fo sho.
Blah, its getting late so I think this is all I'm gonna leave you with. I'll try to post more legit shit in my LJ, not all that goofy shit I find on the interweb.
