Warsaw is in Poland
So it's exactly like I said, I broke down and got off base. I decided this morning/afternoon to finally get up to the museums in Balboa Park. I made it around to the San Diego's Art and Natural History Museums. I must admit after having experienced The Field Museum in Chicago this one seemed rather pathetic, and it was. They hardly had any exhibits and those that they did were mostly marine fossils (whales, seals, etc.). I skipped the Science Museum and couldn't find the Aerospace Museum, but I think I'll return next weekend and endeavor to explore them.
I've recently been reading Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising, but tired of the 80's tech and left it about half way through (I'll finish it sooner or later). In the mean time I've been divulging into Herman Woulk's The Winds of War. It's part one of two (War and Remembrance the second) chronicling a Navy family's experience in World War II. It's terribly interesting and very well written, even by this point (only about a third of the way into it) I would still recommend the read.
