Almost done
Damn, Dustin's right, I really never update this thing anymore. But, neither does anyone else whose journal I read, except Grant and Dustin and Travis. And Rachael ( Myspace whore :) ). O well. Perhaps I will more next semester. Perhaps. Anyway, they say that the last we weeks of high school are the best and the last few weeks of college are the worst. I don't know who "they" but "they" are "right". I've had more papers these last two weeks than I thought was legal. I now understand that next year I have to do some work over Thanksgiving. I just sat around this time. Don't get me wrong, that was fun as hell, just sitting around like a vegie. It was cool seeing all my friends too.
I think I've been really close to a break down/burn out/crawl up in the fetal position and cry episode latley. I don't know why, I just feel like if I don't get these papers and finals over with I'm in serious danger of going nuts. I know I have no more room to bitch than anyone else, or maybe I do with this engineering bullshit, but most probably not. I have it pretty easy considering the schedules of others, but that still doesn't make it any better. Maybe I'm just having that seasonal depression stuff. O well. Let's look on the bright side:
POINT 1 - I just finished my part of the bulk of AE.
COUNTER POINT - I still have to put it together with the group, which could take hours, and it's due Thursday
POINT 2 - I got a 97% on my chem quiz.
COUNTER POINT - Which means what? NOTHING! Quiz=nothing Test=everything
POINT 3 - There's no final exam in Geology.
COUNTER POINT - But there is a 6-10 page paper about volcanoes in the solar system to write
POINT 4 - I just got a basket of fruit from my parents.
COUNTER POINT - No bananas
COUNTER COUNTER POINT - But, I do have pears, which I haven't had in almost 6 years.
POINT 5 - My three finals are spread out thoughout finals week
COUNTER POINT - My three finals are worth an average of 40% of my grade each. Yeah!
POINT 6 - I've got to admit it's getting better, getting better all the time.
COUNTER POINT - It couldn't get no worse
POINT 7 - I've rediscovered Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance.
COUNTER POINT - I've listened to Brand New so much that I'm beginning to dislike them
That was fun wasn't it? Ok, fine, but at least I updated. I wonder who still reads this? If you read all of this post a comment and tell me to quit bitching, or at least just post a comment. Or, if you read just this sentence, post "I'm an asshole who only reads the last sentence".
