It's been three days since I've slept in my bed. No, I'm not sleeping in someone else's bed - that would be good news. Because of grading, I haven't slept more than an hour or two a night since, oh, Monday, and what little sleep I've gotten has been in my recliner with papers on my lap. I hate grading. Don't be an English teacher, it sucks hard.
My dog has bad knees. Monday, he sat down suddenly and started crying. When he got up, he wouldn't put his right hind leg down and he kept making distress sounds. Frantic, I took him to the vet. It looks like he's had trick knees - which are not uncommon in toy poodles - and his leg must have given out on the ice. So he's on pain meds and I'm relieved that it's that simple. My mother, who also has a bad right knee, wants him back in the geriatric home that is her house. XP
Did I mention the ice? STOP SNOWING, NEW ENGLAND. Thx.
My brother-in-law's mother, whom I've known my whole life, is probably dying. She's 90, and recently fell in her nursing home and lost her eye. WTF? Lost her eye. I don't even know how that happens. So we think she's now going to lose the will to live. My sister's family is running around frantic and sad, and I'm rather upset myself.
I'm going to post at FFEC and go to sleep. Finally.
