I think someone actually confronted them about it, in a pretty well thought out comment. At least when I last checked.

But yeah, it's good to be upfront about these kinds of things. o____o

Yes, I just saw that, and I'm pleased. Many things about this wankiness are making me rage, including one person's staggering willful ignorance and self-absorption, and another's award-winning crusade on behalf of the silent oppressed, both of which distract from the seriousness of the issue. I'm trying to keep my mouth shut on LJ for once, although Balf's been getting an eyeful on chat.

Still, I'm glad someone had the stones to speak directly to the person whose probably-innocent-but-admittedly-in-poor-taste work touched all this off.

I find this whole thing amusing, and I'm friends with the icon maker XD

I've seen a lot of worse icons out there, so I don't really get why people are getting all uppity about these ones? IDK. I just wish someone brought it up to their face instead of making a stupid post whining about it?
