In History today, Dr. Nutting decided that instead of giving her usual weekly quiz on the reading, she's making us identify all the current states but Alaska and Hawaii (damn). Easy stuff.
You'd think.
Suddenly the whole class was in a kind of panic. We all started to name the states we can find on the map. Basically Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Texas, New York....6 out of 48 isn't bad. (It's not as bad as all that, we were mostly joking, but can anyone identify all the states? Try it. Feel stupid yet?)
