I first read this on hetalia in, like, fall of 2008 when I was going through my Hetalia love affair, and I love, love, love it but I don't think I commented (was a lurker, basically). This is one of maybe two Hetalia fics that I remember in particular.

Shiiiit, I had no idea you were into Hetalia! I enjoy it when I remember it exists, but the fandom was way too prolific for me to even pretend to keep up with.

I'd kind of forgotten this one existed (especially when it got entirely eclipsed by the weird Russia/Finland+Sweden porn thing but fandom is kind of like that), and reading it now I realize I was flipping tenses like mad (note to self: FIX THIS) -- and I'm entirely flattered that you remembered it, wow. Personally? I think the ones I remembered are mithrigil's, because I've been dewy-eyed over her stuff for several fandoms, now.

I was only "into" Hetalia for the funny comics (which I have stopped reading) and the gorgeous fan art (which I still collect occasionally, damn 4chan). I noticed recently that this has become the fandom du jour of my 12YO sister, so clearly IT'S TIME TO GO. Needless to say, I didn't read much if any fic, but I did read yours! Probably because I recognized your name trolling through the comm ♥ Also because I liked Russia/Lithuania. Still kind of do.

I have heard about mithrigil, however! She is supposedly one of Hetalia fandom's holy trinity of fic writers (who are the other two, idek). This is the part where I have to shamefully admit that history in facts bores me stupid and therefore I tend to run away from complex, well-researched stories like the ones she writes. I am an uncouth heathen D:

Does she write for any other fandom, though? I see Inglourious Basterds (wow), and possibly X? I could really read some X, come to think of it.
