i arrived in charleston, south carolina at midnight. it was an 8.5 hour drive. and now i am reporting live from elizabeth stewarts computer. man i have had the BEST night and day so far. i went straight to liz's dorm last night, which is so badass. it's like an apartment. and all her roommates are really cool. or the ones i met anyway. i had whiskey waiting on me when i walked in the door, and consumed quite a bit of it. we didn't go to bed until 530. got a good 4 hours of sleep and went out on the town of charleston today. the city really is amazing. i have never been to a place like this before. it kinda reminds me of what i would think new orleans would be like. i ate a ham and cheese and dijon mustard crepe for lunch. it was awesome. liz, ashley, and i walked around charleston for a few hours, checking out the market, which was millions of booths set up selling the most random items ever. you could get the coolest things here if you had lots of money. being that everyone was tired, we came back and "napped." we're going to a kickass seafood joint tonight, and then maybe to the beach, and then come back here and drink and chill.

i was nervous on the ride up to be live and in person with liz again. but as soon as i saw her face, and her smile, i knew nothing had changed. our relationship is even better than ever for sure. im so happy. i'm really not looking forward to driving back to bowling green on sunday. it's such a long drive. i will be back around midnight sunday night though. until then, love city.
