In an early celebration of Halloween, spiders all over town apparently decided to explode yesterday. Driving home at dusk, I passed dozens and dozens of webs floating eerily on a gentle breeze, illuminated by my headlights and the last rays of the setting sun. Sara and I ran into another dozen or so on our walk later on. We arrived home feeling practically sticky. I think it's a sure sign that fall in Oklahoma is just around the corner.
Kate and I accomplished a lot around the yard this weekend. Cleaned the gutters. Did a bunch of weeding and pruning. Took lots of butterfly pics. Went to my parents' house for dinner Sunday, and I vaccumed for them. Also spread cosmo seeds in field behind their house. Did lots of walking and had a good workout on the bowflex Saturday. It was enough exercise that I should have been pretty worn out yesterday, but I wasn't. So, just another indicator that my energy button has been reset and is returning to something more normal.
