My Heart Broke Hiking
Had a lot of fun hiking yesterday.
Explored a large wooded valley in the city I never even knew was there.
...but at the end of my hike, I came across a lil squirrel that was sick/injured laying in the creek bed. He had a sore on his backside, that looked like a predator claw attack or such and was oozing some puss.
omg, it was so sad....I put on my gloves and warmed him up and dried him off.
tried to give him something to eat, but he wasn't in the mood to.
He was coughing a lil cough while he snuggled in my gloves....
At least he still had some bite left in him. He bit my gloves while I moved him. :D
That means he still had some will left in him. :D
I put him upland under some thick bushes, and he crawled toward the center of them.
I sure hope he makes it.
