A Cinderella Ending...
I've got a story for all of you people out there.
Back in freshman year i was really into Gundam. For those of you who don't know what that is, picture big fighting robots with lots of guns and cool stuff like that. There was one particular Gundam that i loved above all, Heavy Arms Custom. Seriously, how could you not love a walking missile boat?
So one day i found some freakin awesome 3D pics of HAC that this one artist had made. I downloaded them all and put them onto a powerpoint, printed it out, and stuck it in my locker in freshman year.
Between then and now two vital things occured. One, i got my new computer and virtually all of my saved files were lost in the transfer. Two, the site that supported the artwork was deleted because Bandai, the corporation that owns Gundam, bought the site name out. (The site was originally called "www.gundam.com". Bandai had only owned the "www.gundamofficial.com" site which paled in comparison to gundam.com)
Point begin, the pictures were lost forever. The only remnants i had were the 9 that i printed out in freshman year on that now crumpled and ripped sheet of paper.
I searched for months for those pictures. I emailed the artist with no response. I thought all hope was lost. Until five minutes ago...
I was searching through some of the files i had managed to recover from my old computer and found something unbelievable. While the original pictures had been lost, the powerpoint had not. I had saved it in a separate folder. And that meant that the 9 pictures were still there and could be resaved.
Oh you don't know what a glorious day this is.
