It's always so cold in here on Saturday morning. I can't really think of anything particular that happened this week that needs to go first because it was just SO interesting...
Tuesday night Adam spilled Vitamin Water all over his school rental laptop. But the library tech people still took it back as if nothing had happened. What?
Nate didn't answer his phone on Tuesday when I called him back, so I did blogging homework. Then went home to TV-sleep. I did talk to him on Wednesday night though cuz he was in the 102.1 big vehicle thingy with not much to do while at the Red Hot Chili Peppers show.
Wednesday night's Art and Social Movements class was interesting. He said there wasn't enough time for everyone to present in full so we all just had our laptops set up on Tables and had to walk around looking at everyone's power point monument proposal. Our groupmate Josh did a really good job on our image so that seemed to impress the teacher. He complimented Kahara's powerpoint, and I did the huckstering when he came around to actually talk to us.
As usual the GDers clumped together and on break we were looking at the pictures from Saturday night with amusement. There was a lecture at the Eisner so he let all of us go an hour early, I couldn't go though cuz I didn't have five dollars. Yes, I was that broke, but I just got a check yesterday. Though all of it will go to our extravagant WE bill for March. Stupid usage of heat when it's -10 outside...
I did homework, was kinda productive, did some random photoshopping for fun, and then was falling alseep at the Table trying to read. So I just BOSSed home. Cary did randomly walk in at some point so I said hi and showed the lil project I was doing. I guess she's house sitting form someone in this neighborhood.
Thursday night we had Pam, Ashley, Jeremy, Dan (shock), and Mike around, but we were fairly caught up in addictinggames.com and drawing penises and vaginas on Pam's Nintendo DS. Yes, folks, we are in college. Territory war is just that fun.
I stayed long enough to do my weekly Web 2 reading and post to D2L. Topher came about and saved me cuz I really needed to pee. We talked about getting raped and what it would be like if the rapist wasn't getting aroused enough by our tears of despair and just did a poor job of it all together and we were left unsatisfied. I don't remember how we got on that topic actually.
I worked 9-5:30 yesterday, Kyle picked me up and we were off to Wisco. He didnt' go about it the best way so we were just there, and had to eat at Pick n Save. He had Wheat Thins, I had indecision as always. We talked about his breakup. We walked around for a good fifteen minutes before I decided on a subpar deli sandwhich with macaroni noodles. Squeedge called to alert me that Will had spotted us, and then we spotted him ourselves and said hi.
Anything Goes was really good stuff. I mean, it was extra amusing seeing how Matt was the male lead and we were able to generate lots of innuendo out of that. But, the mics were awesome so there were no audio glitches. The leads could have projected a bit more, but the chorus was the only thing that really needed to be louder. There was so much smutty humour that I'm surprised they didn't just throw the whole thing out. lol. It was amazing.
I texted Allie, Nate, and Jeremy saying how amusing the whole thing was. Cuz I was giddy. I also got this arbitrary text message from my co-worker james stating what he was doing and then asking me what I was doing. I told him. He was like "that's cool." I swear I don't understand why he does things sometimes. lol.
We sat in front of Allie's sister Angie, whom I didn't even see at first for some reason. She got my attention. Afterwards Kyle and I were waiting to talk to Matt, but we had to wait for everyone to congratulate and talk to him first. And when things did finally taper down a bit his parents were talking to him. More specifically his dad (who doesn't know that Matt and Kyle dated). Doom doom doom. We discussed how much he looked like some sort of action star. Or one of those aggressive jerks who play card sharks and crooks on crime shows on TV. lol. Matt said a few sentences to us before running off, so it was basically a waste of our time. JJ happened to wonder into us as we were leaving cuz he was looking for where they were holding the Baseball sleepover. What? Why? Anyway, said hi and left.
Back at Walden Mountain we writhed for a bit. Jeremy and I had ice cream. We introduced Kyle to Latter Days, which I of course fell asleep during. Luckily I already know what happens. Mmmm.
I'm making a frozen pizza right now. And for some reason I really feel like watching the Six Feet Under season five promo on YouTube again. I watched the other day out of nostalgia. Then watched the last ten minutes of the last episode. And of course teared up just a bit. Sigh. I miss you 6FU...
