Things of an assorted nature happened yesterday, I just didn't get a chance to LJ becuase the homework has been coming so fast and furious. But. This is the last night of that for the next 3 months. Pregnant Pause.
I have three projects due in Sequence and Stucture tomorrow. Some pictures I took for the Visceral proejct, they are printed and ready to go, I just need to construct a book board/cloth portfolio for them. Which I'm doing last I've decided. My Killer Peep Show comic got reprinted today but I still need to glue it back to back and cut it down, which took about an hour last time so I'll do that in the morning (the real morning). I need to do all of the list writing for my Inventory project, which is the list of every comic book I own. Well, most. I skipped the two short boxes I have of miscellaneous because I don't feel like blowing my brains out. This will be an abridged list. Oh well. Got the mini covers printed out this afternoon so I need to cut those out. I forsee this project taking maybe 6 to 8 hours.
There was a massive attack of problems in the print lab when I went there the second time today. I got there fifteen minutes before it closed and everything should have been fine, but no. My files were insolent and then my flash drive went ghost on me for a bit. The main problem was that the printers said they weren't connected to the computer. I had to restart. Tried the second computer. Same deal. Kyle was actually in there, again. The past three days (M-W) when I've been there Kyle and Dan(iel) from my GD class have also been there. Today when we all happened to converge there I recommended we make a Facebook group out of it.
But yeah, Kyle finished and I was trying to get it to work on all three computers in there cuz it was just me and the lab monitor Shayla. Ended up using my iPod as a storage device and got it going. She was nice enough to stay a half hour late for me. She checked her e-mail and some of her freelance clients informed her that they were pleased with her work so she was all excited. And when things started printing for me she recommended a high five and then a double five. And then we kept slapping till it turned into patty cake almost. lol.
Ben was kind enough to wait for me so he drove me home. On the way I was panicing about how I would structure my night and possibly get everything done. I knew that a part of it was just feeling tired and overwhelmed from getting only an hour and a half of sleep last night.
Bryn called and we talked about book returning and her coming to Club 5. To my knowledge it is only Adam, Bryn, Allie, Ben, and I going so we'll only need two cars.
Is anyone else coming to my birthday thing on tuesday?
Ashley said she might. So when I got home I ate chips like a beast and decided to lie down and try to sleep. Zonked. For two point five hours. I was wise enough to make contact with my mom beforhand though and she called me at 9:30 to get me up and eat. I decided that it would be best to just take the bus to school, settle in, and kick some ass. I'm not tired, just kind of blah feeling cuz of little sleep. Which I can deal with.
I finished writing down the broad info for my comic collection, went through the last 3 long boxes, and showered and got ready and stuff. My mom gave me some cookies to take with me. lol. Called Kyle to see if he was going to be using the pressing room tonight in the art building. He said he wasn't sure if it would be open, and then asked for some book board if I had any extra. *works on comics* Called Tom to ask about getting into the art building after it has close or if it closes. He says the handicap button used to open the door even after it was locked and that is how people got in, but maintenance found out and fixed that last week, much to many a lab goer's dismay. He said it was blocked off now. Boo. Called Kyle and told him this. He said he didn't need any board anymore.
After I was out of the shower and across the street and waiting I called Dan and apparently he is doing an all nighter as well, so if I need some company maybe I'll cross paths with him. I'm super grateful for his letting me use his couch lately. lol.
The bus almost passed my by so I had to wave it down. And the driver was young and thin and attractive and male and bespectacled. I was quite surprised. Texted Pam and Peter (the fellow bussers texting group, :p) about it. Called Ben c uz he called me around 10 but I was too distracted sorting comic information to really talk. So we discussed what he was trying to say earlier. He and I both talk about relationships a lot for guys who claim to not want them. Um, yeah.
I thought I was gonna have to wait 25 minutes for the 15 at my transfer point, but the one before must have been late cuz it was across the street as I neared my drop off point so my driver honked it down and it waited for me. I was pleased.
Ok, now I'm here. And it's time to kick some ass. As much as is possible. I"m not all deathly like usual, like I said, more just little sleep tired rather than still awake tired. I'm ready to rock this.
So what if my day started at 10pm. I can deal with that. Tomorrow is the project finale of all time, and then studying JMC with Jordan. After which there will be all manner of crashing.
I just really felt like sitting here and writing for twenty minutes and finding my center before diving in to homework.
