I intended to update last night, but once I set down to my computer I wrote in my Class 13 file instead. With all the small things I notice that make my LJ entries unbearably long. And social dynamic stuff that isn't a good thing to get into here. The past two weeks have been: wake up, bus, school, lazy, ben (and maybe others as well), home, sleep. My days are always all extended and I never end up at home till rather late.
For example, Monday night I went to Genghis (which I was spelling without the h in there, boo) Khan with Ben, Mary, and Casey. Ben and I had issues getting there, as I said "we had complications of the everything", because of getting off 45 by Mayfair and being too far along to make a u turn because they dont' allow. So we tried side streets but they were rather dead endish. But when we did finally arrive there it was delicious. Mary and her fiance Broc apparently used to go there way often back when he lived up here. So she is seasoned.
Casey was filling her in on her Chad, and later on Ben and I were elaborating on how we knew each other and all the other friends that were of the Table from Wisco days. And our extended network. Casey said she wasn't aware that we all knew each other so well. That we knew Katie back in the day was also a surprise to her. She also didn't know that Adam and I had been friends in high school.
Sadly Mary got a call from her mom and she had to whisk away to see her dad in the hospital. She called us later to inform us that things were normalized for the time being so that was good to hear. By that time we were at Pegasus. Outside the door I plucked Casey's Pegasus Cherry, bit into it, and ran away with the stem. Inside we decided to draw on the mats. Stick figures and things like that. Casey and Ben had another T-Rex hands (see MySpace video for details) nuzzle duel. But after that I was asleep for 15 minutes and we decided it was time to go home.
The scary guy who wears the same black shirt and black jeans every night when he comes to play the slots (like 9pm to 3am every day of the week... shudder) was there as usual. And through Casey mentioning him to Chad we have discovered that Chad works with him and his name is Freddie. So that is one of the grandest mysteries of all time solved and wrapped in a bow. According to Chad he is a good worker andn really nice, though he has no life. Perhaps cuz he spends all his time when he should be sleeping at a restaurant?
Why, look at that speck of dust in your eye. No, pay no attention to the plank in mine.
We ended up at Genghis Khan again last night, but I suppose Tuesday happened between then didn't it? Nothing particularly spectacular happened. Reg, Peter, and I got going on our questions for the Lit Survey. Mr. Goede continued not calling me back to see if we can distribute the survey there. Talked to Ashley and realized how bad everyone wants this semester to be over. Like right now. Collected ass tons of Taco Bell wrappers for my Inventory project in SS, but I don't think I'll be using them. I really have no idea what I'm doing for that project... and I have to say what I'm doing by later this afternoon.
I bitched out Ben a bit about how he hasn't been doing anything on the apartment portion of our lives. So I called some numbers and ended up getting a viewing later today for one that we didn't even have on our list I don't think. When I was done yelling at him i turned back to my computer. Pam was like "oh" and I thought she had just realized something so I asked what. And she was like "just oh...". So maybe my nasty bitchyness scared her. lol.
Things in GD are going ok I guess. The LANTERNS are due next week thursday. SHIVER. I still have some shit to get together and things could potentially get tragic, but hopefully not. I need to get my process book assembled this weekend or I'd really be sunk.
Erik was working on isolating a picture in Photoshp and asking me how it looked. When there was only a few minutes left of class I pointed it out to him. "Aren't you going to say it?" he asked. I wasn't sure. "Say what? Like... you mean 'secks!'?" And he was like yeah. So it was rather funny that he knows me enough to know.
Back at the Table Ben and Casey were watching 24 on his laptop while Jeremy was just reading the paper. I looked forward to haveing quiet time then to do homework. But then we veered off into Jeremy talking to his old high school friend who walked by and talking about 24 and Jack Bauer jokes online. I read the ones from Matt's journal.
My camera had gone to white on the display screen earlier and I was flipping out. But it came back, though now it is all blotchy. Boo. But still working enough where Casey and I wipped em out and started taking pictures of her and Jeremy. And then people kept grabbing each other compromisingly. And videos were taken. Good fun that.
My mom informed me on the phone that both she and my dad had gotten me shoes that day. But I would like hers better. I investigated immediately upon arriving home. I liked both enough to wear so she said to just keep both. I now have more than one pair of shoes. This is one classy ass right here.
Ben had come over to borrow Angel season 1, and in doing so I said we should watch the last 2 episodes of 24 season 1 so we did and it was good. So many people in that show need someone to hold their clip-ons.
He left, but an hour later he called me to tell me about how funny Angel is and how he had forgotten. As for me and my household, we were serving the Veronica Mars before bedtime.
