Astonishingly Hermetic
I've been DVRing lots of random things recently. Today I woke up to a movie called Mr. & Mrs. Smith from the 40s or 50s. It was about a couple whose marriage wasn't really official so she broke up with him and tried to show him and antics ensued. It was cute. I can't believe I made it through the whole thing actually.
Sorted two piles of comics. Watched an episode of Six Feet Under.
Then started this DVRed movie called Myra Breckinridge I think it was. About a guy named Myron who got a sex change then returned to his uncle posing as Myra the widow of Myron so that he/she could get his inheritence property. On the way random things about overpopulation and evenness between the sexes was spouted. And tons of even-then-obscure queeny film references were made. Along with footage spliced in. Oh, and Myra gave a hung dumb blonde guy a doctor's checkup and then tied him up and did him up the ass with a strapon to take his virginity... and then seduced the guy's girlfriend... and then there was a scene I didn't get and then the movie ended.
Yeah.
Just... yeah. I don't know.
I don't know how such a movie got made in the early 70s, but I do know how it only got one star.
Reread Astonishing X-Men #1-6. Fell in love with Joss Whedon all over again.

I was supposed to hang out with Josh and Christine (no longer there) from work tonight. They both knew about it and agreed to it a couple days ago. Christine I got a hold of, but I called Josh and his girlfriend answered because he was off at the store. She said she'd tell him. But then four hours passed and he didn't call back. lol. I called but there was no answer. Christine called and we decided to reschedule due to mysterious Josh loss.
Then Adam called (again again) and Katie and he talked me in to coming to Club 5 even if I just stand around listening to music. I guess I can handle that. lol.
I've been in an oddly reclusive mood today where all I want to do is stay at home, watch movies, read comics, and not talk to anyone.
So let's hope I snap out of that for 5iveing tonight.
