I made a longish entry last night about yesterday in it's entireity. But I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at the computer, awoke to the usual hail of pop-ups, and deleted them along with the still open LJ window... I woke up this morning hoping that was just a dream, but there is no update last night so blargh.
The jist of what happened is I took the 6:45 bus to school. Realize I left my grid array print out at home, freaked out, let it go, called Nate knowing he'd be up all night from his JMC studying, and secured a ride home and back after his test. He was quite sleep deprived and loopy, at one point a mac was turned into a corner "because it was bad," which he laughed about for like 10 minutes as we walked to the parking structure... but it helped lighten the situation for me.
This cut about an hour of my time so instead of being done before the 12:30 drop off time I was 10 minutes late and still had to finish putting on my sticky page tabs. Lisa didn't really seem to care though. The elevator was out so I was hauling up the staircase and passed by all my classmates descending from their timely arrivals. They laughed, but not in the mockery way, in the ha ha good thing you're here you dolt now run kind of way. After I left the room I called Allie to be like omgz.
Before that I was just throwing things together in the Terrace with Adam, Steph, and Peter at the Table, and at a distance so I could concentrate. Adam did however bring me some candy. And a taco. Mmmm. They were all gone though and I had to fly so I asked Suzie to watch my stuff... but then Adam came anyway so it was all good.
Upon returning, post dropoff, Adam was listening to the RENT stage soundtrack and we had to ponder the difference and superiority between it and the movie version.
I went into the Women's Resource Center to thank Suzie for her willingness to help even though she didn't get called into duty. One of the ladies working there was in the dread Type II so she showed be the book project. And confirmed that over half her class did drop out of the major. She agreed with my plan to take only 12 credits. And she and I both think that I should be able to handle it. Fingers crossed.
More coming within a few hours.
