Plants lecture got out 20 minutes early after an uninformative video and Steph needed to print out something so she went to the Art Building Print Lab. We ran into Holly from the good old days of 2D, ironically the class Steph was printing for, who I was keen on due to running into Mary earlier in the day, and she informed us that there was no room at the inn and like 7 or 8 people were in line. We Jesus, Mary, and Josephed to the Mitchell lab where she printed out at overpriced and drastically sub par quality. Ech.
On the plus side though, as I was perched on the table outside Lisa was walking by and I asked her a question about class times next semester. The time table is as wrong as can be, time wise and day wise. Dear LORD. Basically I have to choose between Web Design and JMC 101 next semester. Sigh. I need to kickstart my minor soon cuz I need classes to fill gaps of GD, which apparently isn't sooo bad next semester, but Type II next fall requires owning $400 printers, making your own 170 page book, over 10 hours of printing, and it cuts the group of 40 students in HALF cuz they drop out.
Let's review: DEAR LORD.
So she recommends not taking more than 12 credits, which will make winterim essential. Summer is off limits cuz I need some sort of time to recharge, and work full time to save up for the equipment, programs, and printing materials. So I think I might take Seqeuntial order/ publishing next semester, like right before GD 1 on T/R, with JMC 101 in the mornings. Which would put all three of my most important classes all in one day. leaving art history and, like, power of words (lol) for m/w. My sould would be consumed by the fires. But... I'm scared. I just want to have ideas and give designs to people for a living. *meek look*
If I fail in life I'm just gonna become a manager at Goodwill... lol. Or work there part time and at a library part time. So I can read nursery rhymes to the squirrels in the courtyard.
