LJ, BJ, DJ...
Goodwill ended up not needing me yesterday, and the phone place was closed so I opted to walk up to Target. Walk because I missed the bus outside my house. Twice. I talked to Ben about half the trip till my phone died. That's the first time it's ever actually happened so how exciting that it made it almost its whole life.
Listened to Autobiography by Ashlee Simpson on the way and the entire time while shopping, and it's actually a really fun album. Thanks to Matt for inspring me to steal it from Jordan last Thursday. I got the new Depeche Mode CD, almost Fallout Boy, but didn't feel like spending $30. Depeche is so great cuz it's really depressing/ambient but with a light techno beat and rock'n'rolling. I looked at furniture to remind me why I bought some from Goodwill on Saturday. It cost $60 for a mirror that I would put like $5 on at work were it donated. I thought Target was cheap? All the more case for Ikea. Walking home I listened to some Skillet and Green Day.
The tape spit back up Gilmore Girls from oblivion and I was able to watch it. But as of today my mom has a new tape taking care of all our recording needs. And soon I'll have my DVR fixed so I'll really be in the space age. Along with my flip phone, iPod, and Mac...
The rest of the night I did little things in anticipation of doing homework. But then I got wrapped up in getting the Madison pictures from Allie and talking to Ben on the phone a couple times till ultimately ending up in a small comment war in my LJ. He avoided homework all night for LJ. I am so proud... It got to 11:30 and I was like fuck this I can't stay awake and just went to bed. Leaving homework for 6am today.
Charmed was actually good and didn't absolutely suck donkey balls. For a second there I feared the Apocalypse.
