Eric Nelson. From Behind.

Sep 21, 2005 08:53

The bus this morning was so full that a few people had to wait behind at the park and ride for the next one. How sad. I was going to do my reading on the bus, therefore not reading it while waiting, but then it was standing and my book is too fat to hold with one hand. The other being holding the rail in case you are not bus savy. Oh well. At least there was QAF Final Season and Class to choreograph. I tried my hand at the Song Naming game on the iPod and got 18 right in a row. 32 out of 34 in the long run. I was excited. Ben came and talked of class skippage as per usual. Then went to class. But not before commenting on how much Adam talked on the comfy bus, his knowledge of "Adam, spoon!", and something about choosing to be apathetic towards homosexuality cuz otherwise he woulnd't have anyone to talk to when he's bored. LOL. We promised that one of us would have a hissy fit when he came back from class.
I should be doing Typography, but that can wait cuz I didn't write about yesterday really. The day started as all days do, with iPod on the bus and Ben on the Table. I mean-- at the table. His mom was going to find out about his on-a-whim helmet buying and crucify him because he is forbidden from motorcycles. He didn't mention anything about it today so I'm assuming it wasn't that bad. Dave Buel (Bule? something?) and that Matt guy from Wisco who had long hair and those super thick emo glasses came by.
Adam attended me part of the way to Advertising where I was much more interested in drawing a girl in a sweater with subtle highlights in her hair than in really paying attention to the six characteristics of ads. I read about them so oh well. I never have anything to say about this class even though I enjoy it on the whole.
I realized I was walking a couple yards behind Brandon on the way to Design Survey, and that he had a green iPod. At class he told me about the existance of the music name game thing and I became excited. Though.. the scroll wheel kicked my ass. And he brought up how he had one of those naps where you lay done and suddenly it's time to get up. As if no time had passed. I did that last night so I know where it's at. Apparently in his rushing and sleeping and apathy he hasn't showered in two days. Um, lol. I found it amusing at the time and we jested about other things mildly. I just realized that he, among others perhaps, probably wouldn't be too happy if they knew that I was regurgitating our conversations online. But oh well. lol. There was the least amount of paying attention ever for this class for me.
Plants lecture was business as usual. Sadly my notebook isn't on me and that's where I keep notes on the ridiculous things that are said. I do remember that he was talking about the 3 main assertions of evolution or something and how overpopulation can kill a species. Or, it goes up until it's inevitable J-curve shaped implosion. Did you know it would take a certain breed of slowly reproducing elephants 700 years to fill the earth. I know I sure didn't. Yet I don't know that I care either. I was too focused on desiging a CD cover for Kennedy's Special Mix Fall 05. Learning? pssshtt. I love Mr. Kennedy. He says 'Chiner' instead of 'China' therefore I would take a bullet for him.
Nate, Peter, and I waxed quasi-scientifical on the seismograph and why it moves and why if it's turned off it means the world is ending. So we reckon. Nate and I ATMed and went to Taco Bell so I wouldn't die during my next class. Nate: "that guy is cute." "Really? I'd better gawk at him till he turns around." "Ok." "He's not that cute..." "Well he looks kind of Eric Nelson from behind." "Mmmm. Eric Nelson. From behind..." Both laugh out loud. Oh... good.
The Table was Adam, Steph, her associate, Johan, Peter, and Ben so I certainly didn't eat alone. Ben and Peter crafted a list of ways to become Mexican. Tequila, knife fights, ghetto car, loving Mary more than Jesus. Etc. I would have been upset but I was eating Taco Bell so, seriously. We wanted Peter and Steph to have sex on the table... if wishes were horses.
Computer Graphics was 2 and a half hours of drawing over a picture of cracks in the earth's surface. After about 5 hours the picture is... half done. At least there was Relient K and Yellowcard to keep me going.
Bussing home was fun. I was supposed to do reading, if not just Shonen Jump, but then I got caught up in thinking about Class with QAF: Club Babylon Disc 2 as the soundtrack so oh well. At home there was frozen pizza, Gilmore Girls, and a sexy all-Keller (or Stabler, whatever) episode. Adam called and we had to nail in coffin the Pizza Shuttle because of prior committment, but it shall rise again. Possibly on teh back of the South.
