JJ and Scotty. Behind the Compactor. With The Crayon.
I went into work yesterday with a pretty positive attitude. I guess I was just happy at the thought of being up early and productive, getting off early, and doing something with Scotty after work. Also when I got there Joan, Lynn, Michael (all old employees) were all standing around outside as assisstant manager Matt was late. I perked up when I saw that I was opening with Paul and Joanna (coming from Whitewater to work this weekend) and JJ.
Seeing how the compactor filled up some time midday on Friday before I even got there, there was that to deal with. It actually took Paul till 3pm to empty all 14 gaylords of garbage. So 7/8ths of his shift. And he did it constantly. This left me on door and JJ on table. But when new guy Jimmy came in we slowly phased him on door where he belonged. Being a newbie, and being his assignation on the break schedule, which took Matt 2 hours to put up. We rounded out our cast with Charles at 10am, Scotty at 11am, David at 12pm, and Rasmin at a very unnecessary 3pm.
It was actually quite a good day. I had to help Jimmy with door when things got out of control, but even David did that off and on when he came in. JJ, Scotty, and I decided we didn't like Jimmy though. They don't like his 'tude, which I ignore for now. But I see him, if he last here a while, thinking that ,once he isn't new, he doesn't have to listen to us or do door or some shit. Sorry bitch but I still do door half the time so get over it. I don't think he'll last long anyway. Unless he toughens up.
There was fun to be had otherwise. We were pretty busy, but it didn't much affect the inside for some reason. We didn't get as much pricing done as we shoudl have though because Paul was doing garbage, Charles was off doing indistinct things all day so I rarely saw him, and I kept getting interrupted. Scotty did price for the most part, except those hour long gaps where he would disappear. And JJ and I would mock his lack of doing things. Technically he was putting stock away, but why acknowledge that and ruin our fun? When scotty and JJ were talking about the Wisco game on Friday that reminded me to bring up my visit with Denoyer to JJ.
I was like I was gonna go in the lunch room and see if I could find anyone but figured there would be no one and I didn't remember that you went there at all but I so should have come and visit you and then you would have been really surprised but then we'd realize that you and I wouldn't really have anything to say and it would be awkward but in a really funny way and your friends would be like why does that guy have a purse cuz you see I had my messenger bag on me. I didn't actually say it all in one sentence, that just seemed like the best way to present it here. We were amused.
The other big thing was the five foot plastic red crayon that was donated. Scotty ran off with it.
"I like how he immediately ran into the break room with it. I just hope it doesn't become a penile extension..."
JJ: "Yeah..."
*sees Scotty run out of the break room kind of riding the crayon like a fake pony and kind of acting like it's his giant penis*.
Sigh. LOL. Then he ran up behind JJ and started poking his but with it. Which was endlessly amusing.
Earlier before that, and later on, JJ was leaning over to write a tag for the cage and asked if he looked gay how he was standing. I said no, but then asked him to get lower and stick his butt out more. He did. Then I did the same. And we were standing there in the same position about a yard apart and looking over at each other. "Ok, now we look gay." Then we laughed muchly. For the most part it was just JJ doing table and me pricing so we spent a good amount of the day talking. Later on there were more allusions running around and something came up about Scotty and JJ being lovers.
"Oh, so that's what you guys do in your free time."
JJ: "Yep. Every friday night. Me and Scotty... behind the compactor."
"With the crayon."

Scotty somehow got Eric's phone, which I manhandled away from him. But just to look at the photo gallery. Unforunately Eric walked by and grabbed it from me. Or tried. He actually just had his hand around my hand with the phone in it as I paged through pictures being dragged along. But he grabbed it away and said he was careful about what he put on there now. I expressed sadness at not being able to seem the dirty picture, mentioned in previosu entries. He was upset but kind of amused. tee hee.
There was a cool music collection that came in: Now 3 to 7, assorted early Britney, Christina, and Backstreet Boys, not that great but more importantly, some Pokemon movie soundtracks and Aqua's second CD Aquarius. Which Vic had just asked me if existed the day before so it was timely. Also Avril Lavigne's first CD. I wanted them really bad and JJ talking about getting Wayne's World on his lunch break reminded me of my $10 Goowill bucks I could use. When I got off went to see what was left, just Avril sadly, but got it and supplimented my ten dollars by also purchasing the giant red crayon which was somehow unpurchased by 4pm.
Also when I got off I asked Scotty if he was just going to call when he got off.
"Actually I might not be able to do anything tonight."
*STARES* "What?"
"My grandparents are coming into town tonight and I might have to eat out with my family or something."
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier!?"
"I forgot until just now"
"You forget lots of things. Didn't they supposedly come down two weeks ago when you said we couldn't do anything?"
"They're coming again."
*sad/upset look*
"Look I know it seems like I'm blowing you off but I'm serious. I'll find out what's going on tonight and then call you. I have Monday off."
"I only have class till 3:15, so that would work... am I being annoying or, do you want this to happen--"
"I do. I know it looks bad but I'm not blowing you off."
*defeated* "Ok. I'll talk to you later then."
He did not call at all by the way. Nor did he answer when I did. So I spent two hours listening to Let Go, drawing letters, talked to Allie briefly, talked to Adam, briefly, and then Nate and I went to Pegasus and grocery shopping. It was a fun night because I was nonstop innapropriate innuendoing at Nate at Jewel while he was talking to Cody on the phone (:p) but I still wish things could just go as planned. And Scotty could do something with me just once without some random thing coming along to sink it. Especially cuz his transfer to Waukesha will happen about next week.
