Just something for you Final Fantasy people- a 100 page long thesis on FFVII by one of the people who work on Anime Insider. I found out about it in this month's issue that I got yesterday, (in which there was an article on Advent Children, in case any of you desire to read it- I can photocopy/mail if you don't want to by it yourself if you're interested, plus also an article on the FMA movie premiere [p.s., val, l'arc en ciel is coming out w/ a new cd, if you didn't know already)), thought it was a joke, looked it up online and found out, it's really not. I must say, I was thinking about doing a disertation on anime, but it wasn't actually serious. There really is a clear distinction b/w being obsessed and OBSESSED. This is clearly the latter.
In other news, about 5 seconds ago (I'm writing this in school, btw, as a reward for the brief torture I will relate to you in a moment), I left japanese class to come to the library (where I am typing this at this moment), when who comes up walking besides me and says "Doko e ikimasu ka" but my japanese teacher. Then she continues to engage me in a brief conversation about where i'm going and what i'm doing, utilizing the grammar points in this chapter! I mean, I like Japanese, but it already rules my life enough, can't I walk down the street without being linguistically accosted? ::sigh:: I knew I should have gone to get pizza now, instead of waiting until later. Okay, I'm done venting, now I must go back to work. Well, okay, eat my lunch first. Then back to work.
