When he regained consciousness it was in a room he didn't recognize. Since coming to Earth Wufei had grown used to waking in unfamiliar places, but as a general rule had some memory of falling asleep there first. Such was not the case this time, and he stared at the medical equipment crammed into the cell as he sat up.
But he wasn't restrained, and therefore probably not a prisoner. Abandoning the gurney he'd woken on, he ventured out of the room and into a massive hallway, following the flash of lights. Was this some sort of warehouse? Wufei craned his neck back to look at the ceiling, but saw nothing; was it because the ceiling was so high up, or merely because the warehouse was so dark? Still searching for signs of life, he continued down the hall.
When the panels slid back to reveal Shenlong Gundam before him, he couldn't help but smirk.
"So, you're here too, Nataku? One of those guys must have taken care of us."
They can call me their comrade all they like, Wufei thought, but I'm going to catch up to Treize myself. I don't need allies to slow me down.
The cockpit opened and he did the only sensible thing, considering the situation.
He climbed in.
