History:
here Character Personality: Yukio, being the younger brother of a set of twins, acts much older than his age. Due to his weak body, he inherited none of satan's power, but was affect by his brother's at birth. Since then, he's been able to see demons, and has lived a very scary, draining childhood. Constantly plagued by images of strange creatures and terrifying monsters, he lived scared and wished he could no longer see them. That being impossible, his father began instead to train him to become an exorcist at the very young age of 7. His father told him that instead of being scared, he could fight. He could fight and protect his brother, who would surely one day need it. This pushed Yukio to grow up fast, as all the training had to be done in secret. He worked tediously, without stop (in fact he still only gets 4 hours of sleep a night), pushing his fear away to become strong to defend himself protect his older brother, who always seemed so tough. This gave him very little of a normal childhood, as he spent most of his time studying, practicing and working. He was also a weepy child, weak-willed and often bullied by others. As he already spent most of his time scared, he became an easy target. It gave him little time for playing outside, or other childish games, which were hard for him to enjoy in the first place with demons all around.
As such, Yukio grew up to be very disciplined and controlled. Yukio likes order, likes things to be done properly, careful, and thoroughly. He goes as far as keeping his own feelings in check. When truly angry, a glimpse of it might show on his face but he very quickly covers it up with a smile. This hints at Yukio having a lot of pent up anger, and we get a glimpse of said anger toward his twin brother Rin in the early chapters. However, he choses not to let it out most of the time, preferring to keep smiling, and keep up his warm, but firm, behavior. Yukio is not heartless or cold, unless he wants to appear so. Appearance is very important to him -- not the physical kind, but rather in how he comes off to others. He might have a bit of a temper, but he feels it is unseemly, and keeps it under wraps if he can. Yukio loves mixing in with crowds, blending into them, and an irritable temper is something that stands out. He would rather not attract attention to himself, and gets embarrassed and shy around the flocks of girls he attracts. He is reliable, open and caring but not careless, and this is the side of himself he likes to show. He likes to appear as professional, and thus refuses to partake in anything he feels is unseemly or silly. When given the choice, he opts for smiles and remains soft-spoken. He wishes to become a doctor, as he cares for others and wishes to put his skills to good use. Rather than letting his own feelings and his past show through, Yukio smiles and speaks to people with a gentleness that often surprises people after they've met his brother Rin. He might be strict when it comes to teaching, classes, and rules, but he cares about people and goes to great lengths to protect and help others. His compassion and book smart intelligence make him an excellent candidate to be a doctor.
His relationship with his twin brother says a lot about Yukio himself. At one point, Yukio blamed Rin for the death of their father, for his hurried, imperfect childhood, and the monsters he grew up seeing. He knew Rin had somehow helped their father's death along, and so appeared cold and distant to him until they finally confronted each other about it. He had in fact misunderstood Rin's motivations to become an exorcist of his own, thinking it was a self appointed need for revenge. However, when learning that his father died protecting Rin to the end, and that Rin only wishes to become stronger so that no one will die by his fault again, they both come to an understanding. Yukio worked so hard on becoming one of the best exorcists to prove himself. As children, Rin was always there when Yukio was bullied and kicked around, and always encouraged him. He grew up seeing his twin achieve things he knew he never could, and this only motivated him to work harder, to find something in which he could strive by himself, without relying on him. Now the roles are reversed, and Yukio is the one that will protect and defend his brother. They might clash, but deep down Yukio loves him. He lets go of his anger toward him for their father's death, instead deciding that he will protect Rin in his stead.
His relationship with his father was one that meant a lot to Yukio, as he spent much time with him, training. He taught him everything he knows, and feels that he owes him a lot to this day. Yukio feels like his father deserves half of the credit for his status as a genius. Although he was not related to them by blood, Yukio still felt a deep connection and held a great amount of respect for him. His death shook him up, but in deciding to follow his footsteps and protect his brother with his life like he had, he feels he will honor his father's death appropriately.
Yukio has an antagonistic relationship with Kirigakura Shura, a woman who seems to constantly flaunt her lack of work ethic and training in his face. She seems to be constantly a level above him while providing no or very little effort, which truly infuriates Yukio. He has had to work hard to become as talented as he now is, and Shura's obvious superiority but lack of effort is one of the very few things that causes him to expose part of his anger. As someone that works incredibly hard to achieve his level, he hates to see naturally gifted people take their skills for granted.
Yukio is also very quick-witted, excellent in combat and at handling his two guns. He can carry a full conversation while battling a handful of demons, and is not only considered a genius in theory, but in practice as well. He thinks on his feet, able to quickly analyze situations and respond accordingly. His efforts in keeping his emotions in check help him greatly in battle, allowing him to stay focused on the goal, and not be distracted or act brashly. He is careful, thinking through his every move and his opponent's every possible reaction as well. He usually manages to stay very level-headed and calm, making him a great asset in the field. One of his hobbies is actually just formulating plans, showing that he truly enjoys strategy and preparation.
In short, Yukio is a very strong exorcist, motivated by his desire to protect his brother from his enemies. Professional, always polite and likeable, he is very popular with girls. Even though he is considered a genius, he still feels inferior to his brother in certain ways, looking up to him since childhood. However, Yukio is now strong enough to hold his own, and dedicates himself to keeping his brother safe, just as Rin kept him safe from bullies as a child. Yukio is all smiles, hiding his turmoil and anger whenever possible, knowing that it is not befitting of a doctor or a proper exorcist to have such a temper. Very by the book, Yukio sticks to what he knows and believes in, showing compassion for others through his medical care. Yukio is definitely someone that inspires respect in others, and he will always treat people fairly.
Character Abilities: Yukio is considered by all to be a genius. In fact, after being accepted into the True Cross Academy, he is appointed as the teacher for Anti-Demon Pharmacology immediately, despite being the age of a student. He has attained the Meister level in two classes (Dragoon and Doctor) and is a Middle First Class Exorcist, the youngest in history. Most Exorcists only train for one class, as well.
Yukio fights with two guns, and is very good at handling them. Able to shoot from behind, or with barely a glance at his target, he can also reload his guns very quickly and efficiently, without needing to stop or pause. He moves swiftly, with easy and practiced gestures. He can assess a situation quickly, and respond to it accordingly. He is calculating, and can formulate plans effectively.
Book smart rather than street smart, his general knowledge is very extensive. Being a student in medicine, he also has the ability to heal certain wounds and patch them up appropriately, whether they be inflicted by a demon or from a regular incident. He knows enough herbs and plant treatments to be an Anti-Demon Pharmacology teacher.
Yukio can also see demons, since he was marked by Rin's demon powers in the womb.
Character Weaknesses: One of Yukio's most obvious weaknesses is the fact that, despite his attempts, he cannot always keep a complete lid on his anger. Bottling it up as much as he does for the sake of appearance is bound to blow up in his face eventually. Yukio's knowledge of weapons is also limited to guns, as he does not know how to handle anything else. He would not be as efficient if suddenly thrown into battle with an unfamiliar weapon, even with his quick and calculating mind. He also very rarely allows himself to relax (aside from reading a monthly manga magazine), which could easily become a weakness. Too little sleep, too much stress wears a person down, and might, in the long run, cause difficulties.
Yukio is also a little self conscious, as he is embarrassed by the moles on his face. Teasing him about small things he has nitpicked on is likely to cause a small overreaction.

[ MEISTER ONLY SECTION ]
Why your character should be a Meister:
Yukio would be more effective as a Meister as his mind stays very clear during battle. He is not the type to be easily distracted or affected, and keeps himself focused on the goal. He is an incredibly good fighter, planning his moves ahead, calculating what to do next and the possible outcomes and results of his actions. Yukio keeps his emotions under wraps, so they would not get in the way of a battle. Despite this, he shows a lot of compassion for others, and would strive to keep his weapon focused and safe, as well as trained and prepared for any situation. Yukio might not be used to working so closely with someone, but he would be aware that it requires team work on a different level than most camaraderies he's known in his life. He would work very hard to establish something like this, to get to know his Weapon and understand it. He might be strict at times, pushing his weapon further, but he would care, and he would put his Weapon's well being first.
Meister Ability:
Soul Focus: Yukio's own ability to focus would be kind of useless with an easily distracted weapon; he's also good at talking to people, so keeping people on track is somewhat of an easy task for him.
Soul Precognition: Yukio is already very intuitive in his battles, so this would be an extension of a pre-existing skill.
Soul Repair: Yukio wishes to be a doctor, and healing others is something he is a natural at, something he feels right doing.

First Person:
So this is Death City, is it? And I assume that strange building is Shibusen, is that right?
It seems my skepticism was not entirely deserving. I must not have wanted to believe what I was told, but this is a little hard to deny. I'm no longer in Japan, and this does indeed look like Nevada.
[a pause]
Rin, Shura. I was with you in the moments before I, ah. Was brought here. If you're here as well, please let me know.
I think I must not be the first to come here like this, asking questions. I would appreciate any information you could give me, though, if it's not too much trouble.
Thank you.
Third Person: When Yukio wakes up, it's with a sharp in take of breath. He knows immediately that he's not where he was two seconds ago, and his entire body tenses up, ready to take a fighting stance or run if need be. The familiar weight of his guns and their bullets is gone, and that raises more panic in him than finding himself in a dark, unknown place. He might be a genius, but he can't exactly take down a demon with his bare hands.
He does his best to remain calm, though, not moving an inch as his eyes sweep over the room. It's gloomy, and he can't see the furthest corners of the place, so he squints in an attempt to clear his vision. It doesn't do much, so keeps looking around, taking mental notes. Quickly, he assesses that he is no longer in Kyoto, no longer in the holding space of the jail. He knows Rin and Shura are both gone simply because they would not remain silent in this situation. In fact, he's sure there would be a lot of yelling and trying to break out if they'd landed here with him.
A glance at the door tells him he is not being held prisoner in this place. The seals are applied from the inside, as if to keep something out, or in. If it was him they were attempting to trap, the seals would be on the other side of the door. He also notes the damage done to the room, wondering what went on in here, but knowing he would probably find out soon enough. The statues intrigue him, and he is tempted to go and take a closer look. But the chains, caution tape and seal make him think twice about that.
Instead, he thinks of what to do next. He considers calling out for someone, but concludes that, weaponless, he is probably safer undetected. At least until he figures out where he is, that is, and if there are any demons lurking in those shadows.
Yukio's mind stays surprisingly clear. There's a vague worry nudging at him, anxiety biting at his ankles; he has somewhere else to be. The events unfolding back at the sect are unravelling fast, and he knows that it's bigger than anyone suspects. It nags at him, knowing that they were on the verge of something big, of filling out the blanks in the mission he was carrying out, but that he's now here, in this unfamiliar, dark space.
He can't stay here. Lives are at stake and he has a job to do.
Just as he was about to take his first step, a giant television screen lights up. The light reflects off the lenses of his glasses in an eerie glow as Yukio listens carefully, and doesn't believe a word he's hearing.
