The biggest problem in mine and Ethan's friendship is that we both suck at making decisions, and then we both get mad at each other about it.
For example. Last night, we went to a prom with a couple of friends still in high school who invited us (well, we both had dates, but we went with a group of like 27 other kids). After prom, we went to a friend's storage unit where they were having an after party, and all of the other kids were drinking. I didn't want to stay, and Ethan didn't really either, so we decided to eventually go back to my house, drink tea, and talk. Ethan comes up to me, and our conversation goes like this.
"Hey Jess, just let me know when you want to leave and we will."
"Well, when do you want to leave?"
"I don't really care. It's up to you."
"No, it's your car. You're the one that has to take me to go get my car at your house. So you decide."
"No, it's your decision."
"Are you fucking kidding me?"
"You're not pulling me away from anything."
"Okay, so you're saying you want to leave?"
"I'm saying I don't care, and it's up to you."
"Why do you always do this?"
"Do what?"
"Make me make the decisions. You know I can't do that. And I hate it because I feel like I'm always making the wrong decisions."
So, we argue, and then something happens that ends up being our cue to leave, haha.
Legitimately, that is our only issue.
