Stuffs
I've been planning on updating this journal at least one more time when I figure out exactly whats goin on with me for the next few years. And, as of today, everything has come togather!
So...a few weeks ago, I bought a Volkswagen GTI -- 2003, only 20k miles, 1.8 Turbo, 5 speed manual, all leather interior, spiffy sound system. Savings from every job i've held since middle school went into it, but it was worth it... i'm in heaven. I've actually put over 1k miles on it since i bought it...woops. Oh yeah, my dad has worked for Ford his whole life. First car I buy? European! I think he's embarased at my choice :)
I also have a job!!!! I'll be working for Shar Music as an Apprentice for 10 months. They pay me (not a great deal though), and train me in pretty much every aspect of their business. They even give me 30 min of paid practice time every day. I'm going to practice about a half hour more every day than I did in college!
After the 10 months, I get my choice of open positions in the company, or I can go somewhere else with another awesome item on my resume. From what I've seen so far though, I expect the next ten months will be an absolute blast as well as hard work.
Oh yeah... and I don't start work for another month and a week, so in the meantime I do believe I'll be putting a lot more miles on the VW.
