I finally saw it today! A good two years after I first had plans set to see this play, I finally got to. I wasn't dissapointed :) If you havn't seen this yet, you need to. Now.
Anyway, I'm actually in the car with my family driving back from chicago right now. My dad happens to have cell phone internet on his work computer, so we've been passing it around messing around on the net. Helps pass the time, especially since I've finished all the light reading I got for christmas and I've switched back to the heavier stuff I find myself reading more frequently... I'm also blasting heavy alternative from my iPod loud enough on my headphones to be completely deaf to the sappy country music I think my sister is playing right now. Then again, I havn't really been able to hear anything asside from my iPod for 45 minutes, so its probably changed by now.
For the past few weeks all I've been working on in my free time (hanging out with friends demands SO much of my time... i know, I have such a hard life) is redecorating my bedroom and applying to jobs. Ask me in two months what I'll be doing after college and I'll ether have a precise answer for you, or else I'll be REALLY worried. What I do know so far, is that If I have a job in the A^2 / Detroit area I'll be living in Belleville for 2 months and then Ann Arbor on Plymoth Road (sp?) with a number of my friends from HS (chapel knows them too) in a rather nice appartment complex that has not one, but TWO pools!!!!!! They'd lived there this summer and I spent pretty much EVERY day after work swimming up there with them, so I'm really hoping I can find a serious job in this area. If I get a better job somewhere else in the US, I'm not very opposed to moving wherever, as long as its not Alaska. Everyone I've met from Alaska has been insane. I'm not joking.
Redecorating... My parents gave me their financial support in blowing up, arranging and framing pictures I've taken from all of my travels over my lifetime as my birthday 'present' when I got back from Australia. We finally finished that friday, ending up with like 22 pictures in 12 frames. Between that and the photography already hanging in my room, my several full bookshelves, my room in my parents house FINALLY looks finished and lived in. Ironic that after 5 years of having that room, I finish decorating 2 weeks after I move out for the last time. Oh well, I'll be taking most of it with me when I move in with my friends, and pictures never go out of style. Or beer adds for that matter, and I have a number of them hanging in my room too... if you know my parents, you'll know that hanging those in my house without getting thrown out is a feat akin to walking on water... But I digress...
I should probably stop rambling...but let me tell you, having internet and loud music is the best way to pass time in the cramped back seat of a car.
