Anyone miss me?
I'm back...i finally have the time and will to update. Well time is relative...I'll have to keep this short.
So my break has been crazy. I've driven 3500 miles, and woken up before noon every day of break. My dad is going back to work tomorrow though so I won't be able to drive his car around anymore, so that'll pretty much end my road trip spree... But lets see...I've driven to indiana, Jordan's house to see TSO live in Grand Rappids, Midland twice, Kentucky, Dearborn several times, Heather's new years party, and I spent numberous days driving family members and friends all over the Ann Arbor area.
Jordan's and TSO was FRIKIN AWESOME, prompted a CD purchase and some mad killing sprees in GTA (w00t to sinfonian colored motorcycle rampages). Also got to see the bestest episode of Star Trek TNG ever. Later that week, christmas was great for me. I was sick most of the week, thanks to the TSO concert, but I recovered just in time for christmas. So yeah, i'm a rich bastage, but I won't get into that....
So on the 26th I picked up Betsy and then on the 27th we drove to kentucky. HORRIBLE traffic. 5 hour trip took us 8. Got to Alli's house late, but still had fun. Rented $20 of movies for the entire stay and watched 2 of em that night. The trip was mostly messing around in the snow in the mornings, shopping all afternoon, watching movies all night. Rinse and repeat. Yes, I was dragged along shopping for a good 10 or 12 hours total, but I survived. I don't think I can take much more shopping though...thats why I love amazon.com... Watchin chick flicks late at night was AWESOME though, I love Anne Hathaway! Wow i'm such a dork... The last night I was there I was up 'till 5:30 and I woke up at 8:30. Then I drove for 6 hours comin back up here, but it was so worth it ^_^
Heather's new years party was friday and saturday, it was SO awesome to see everyone from Albion, especially Corrie and Sara! Both of those two need to visit more often...that or I need to get my car... Anyway, Nothing beats going to bed to the smell of coffy being brewed ^^
Thats the cliff notes version of my break. I'm so drained right now I'm gonna need the rest of the break just to recover mentally and physically before school, but I wouldn't have things any other way. Except for maybe UofM winning the rose bowl...
EDIT: I forgot a few things. First, I'm going to do everything in my power to go to Wicked in Chicago on May 10th. Sounds like a number of people from Albion are going then. That would be freekin awesome! Also, my Swedish friend and his brother are probably visiting at the begining of May. If I go to Wicked, they'll probably join us, but ether way, they're single, cute, and they have hott accents. So girls, get ready!
So yeah. I mostly stopped using LJ because I prefered being able to talk to people about whats going on in my life in person rather than them already knowing whats up by reading live journal, but I think I left enough holes in my break that you guys won't really know whats goin on anyway. So drop me an IM or give me a call, I can gaurantee I'd enjoy talkin to ya if you're reading this. 517-914-4228.
