2009

Last night was pretty uneventful.  Rob played WoW, I made a couple of drinks and surfed online and played games on my phone and looked for other "worthy" games.

Today I had to be at work at 8.  It was actually busier than I expected.  But most of the departments were closed.  Pretty much all that was open was Customer Care.  So there were no referrals or transferring to be had.  So, at one point my talk time was down to 127.  By the end of the day I think it was at 157 or something like that.

One client at said to me something about being sorry I had to work today, and that they say what you do on New Year's Day is what you'll do the rest of the year.  I laughed and said that I sure hoped I'd be working the rest of the year and she said that was a good point.  I also told several people who expressed their condolences that I was working, that I had to do something today, might as well get paid for it.  I also got to send over a couple "Wow Calls" probably could have sent more but I was like "eh, 2 a day is more than enough."  And there was one I would have liked to have sent but it was general information so I never got any information for her.

We're supposed to decorate shoe boxes for work for some game or something.  We were supposed to do it today but I didn't really have time.  So I brought the box home again but I still don't really know what to do with it.  Maybe I'll surf online and find pictures.  I kinda don't want to do that 'cause Phyllis was doing magazine pictures.  I'm just not feeling creative.

Our server at Olive Garden tonight was very interesting.  I never really know how to react to "chit chatty" servers.

Well... here's to 2009.

holidays, work, suntrust
