Yayness
So after a kind of long day... it ended up pretty good.
I spent a lot of time at Rob's work. Eventually things settled enough that he didn't think he'd need me there. So I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a container for my body jewelry (I kind of wish I'd chosen a different style. I should have known that the jar set I got would be difficult to unscrew and screw together. But I also thought it'd be space saving. Which it is. Oh well.) And I got some cash back on my order so I'd have cash to tip the piercer.
Then I went over to Roustabout. They weren't very busy. I waltzed in and said that I wanted to get my eyebrow pierced. Seven, the piercer, was really nice. A very quiet man. He took my ID and everything and I got things paid for. I was given the option of a plain barbel or a jeweled. I kind of wish I'd chosen a jeweled, but at the same time, I really like the plain bar I got. It's very tiny and dainty in my opinion.
Seven and I chit chatted about piercings and he admired my transverse and vertical lobe piercings. He really likes doing the unique stuff so I kind of felt bad that the only thing I had for him right now was a 'routine' type piercing. He chose to do it right about the same placement as where I had it done last time so it went through scar tissue. So it hurt a little bit worse initially but now I don't really feel anything at all. And he said I didn't bleed at all either. Which was surprising for me since usually I bleed really easily.
I tipped him and he was a little surprised. We talked about how he doesn't really make a big deal about tipping and talked some more about piercings and ideas and whatnot.
Their "release form" has an area for email address and myspace name because they like to add their clients on myspace so they can easily get in touch in case the client has questions or anything. So that was kind of cool in a way.
But anyway he was so so nice. I'll definitely be going to him from now on. Gigi was nice and everything, but obviously way too far to even consider her for anything regularly. I can't decide whether I like Seven or Gigi more. It doesn't really matter I suppose considering locations. But yeah. I definitely definitely definitely recommend him.
Then after that I went across town to pay the cable bill. Then almost forgot to go check the cast list. But I AM going to be in The Vagina Monologues. So I'm pretty excited about that. Rob seems to be excited as well. He's been telling everyone.
And then I went and picked Rob up from work and we came home.
