(no subject)
I hate the fact that if you want to do anything "unusual" and still hold your job, you have to ask permission.
I recently, for some reason, started thinking about getting my eyebrow repierced. I also thought about nostril for a change and something I hadn't done before, but with my allergies it just seemed like a bad idea. But I just kept thinking and thinking about it. There is at least one other girl on my team that has her eyebrow pierced. I've talked with her about it. no one's ever said anything to her about it.
Well Rob encouraged me to look it up for certain to see what the true policy was. So I looked it up. The dress code didn't say anything about it. So I asked my manager. Courtney researched it and today when I came in she said that she thought it would be fine.
So, I can get my eyebrow redone! Now I just need to find a time. And I feel even more motivated to do it because of having caused such a stir with the researching on it. Maybe on my next day off I'll do it. I just need to decide if I want to go to Roustabout or Thunderstruck.
