She dreams in color

Okay I figure I might as well update since I have nothing else better to do and the fact that Nora just reminded me that I actually had a livejournal in the SDH 30 minutes ago.

So my life has basically been turned upsidedown side it was discovered I had mononucleosis (that's MONO in case you didn't read right). Not only did I miss two weeks of classes, but I also couldn't go to Nationals for Model UN. I had been preparing for that mother effer for the longest time. I put in so much work and effort, I felt like it was all a waste. Then on top of the tiredness I feel at all hours of the day, I can't drink alcohol until another month or so depending. At first I was ready to rip my hair out, but I've been living without my love slowly but surely. I just need to find things to do. I've been home pretty much every weekend since I've been back because the only thing there is to do in Kutztown is drink alcohol. I tried to hang out with everyone and stay sober, but I end up getting bitter and annoyed with everyone drunk (not that I don't love yous all). My birthday was meh. Turning 20 isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Summer will be here soon enough. I'm really excited for summer too. Last summer was awesome and hopefully we can build on that one and make this upcoming one even better. But I still have lots of work to do before the semester ends.

Friday I'm going to see Neal Schon's band play at the Troc. Anyone down?

Also, on Saturday I want to see this band "Shame" that just played in the South Dining Hall ( I bought their CD too-haha). Any takers for that one? I think they're playing at the Grape Street Pub.
