I was out at Donut King recently, and HOMGOSHH, had the most amazing donut. I swear; the moment I bit into it, I felt what could only be described as love.........
..... Either that or the donut was chemically reacting with my lemon soda and making me feel funny :P
No seriously though...... I can't really post on this, because despite having several crushes throughout my childhood, high school years and maybe a few scattered hormonal peaks during uni........ I've yet to experience love of any kind in the romantic sense...
Geez, I'll be 19 in November and I still have my first kiss ^^"
I can definitely talk about the love I have for my family and friends though. Now that will probably ALWAYS be MORE amazing, because I've been blessed with the most amazing people in my life.
Love is a pretty strong word I reckon. People tend to toss around "I love you"s and "I hate....."s
But they kind of lose their intense meanings after a while. There have been times where I'll be talking to a VERY MUCH cherished friend....... but it feels like an "I love you" just isnt enough to let them know how much they mean to me....
Hm I guess to elongate this post, I could ramble about looking forward to my first love.....
Actually, a few weeks ago, had someone asked me that, I would have said that I had no interest in romancing of any kind. Relationships are complicated and messy. And I'm VERY self absorbed and self centered....
And....in light of recent events, I'm sure I'm right.
I definitely wasn't wired for relationships.... But I will admit this:
.......... I am curious
I find it interesting to watch couples interact with each other (NOT the ones that stand in the middle of the pathways and suck-face), but things like old couples sitting on the front porch holding hands and drinking tea or a boyfriend giving his girlfriend a piggy back ride....
Just these small sweet moments that make you appreciate the world and all the lovely things that exist in it.
Anywaysss! In conclusion. Never had a first love (yet). Not looking forward to it ever happening. And my love for my family and closest friends is amazing.
