MAKEUP & MISCELLANEOUS: Benefit, NARS, Drugstore, & Comicbooks + Manga?!
First, can I say the weather here is usually very bipolar? Luckily we've been having nice weather for the past couple days and its so wonderful! Today, my dad and brother woke me up at exactly 8:35 AM to mall walk and I agreed to come along since I know I wouldn't be doing anything else today. Guess what? WE DIDN'T MALL WALK. We had breakfast at iHOP and did a little shopping so I figured I'd do a small haul till tomorrow which will ALSO be a shopping day with my friend. Everything I purchased was at: Hollister, Sephora, Walgreens, HF Comics, and Borders (before it closed down, of course). I will post prices and stuff if your interested as well. Since my parents divorce, my mom packed all my mangas in this big box that once was used to hold a printer so its pretty big and barely fits all of them but I wanted to show you how my manga collection looks....drum roll please......dun dun dun DUN DUN DUN......
....and one random Suzuka dvd, AWK. But yeah, this is my whole collection I started back when I was 12 and still into manga. Sadly I'm not anymore. I find that Barnes and Noble tends to go very light on the manga selection compared to Borders when it was open. I'm also very picky with the drawings and none have appealed to me lately. If anyone wants to recommend any to me, feel free! My recommendations are: Absolute Boyfriend, Love Attack!, and D.N.Angel. Probably more but I don't remember xD I also have a crap load of Anime box sets and DVDs but that can be for another time. If anyone wants a haul of all these, let me know but I'm not gonna go through all of them in this post D': Moving on to make-up and other things, this is everything I got...
Sephora is NOT cheap, children for all those who shop there. Make sure you read up on reviews first before buying the product! Just a little quick tip since that's what I do and its a lot more reliable. This is the packaging of the new 'Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow' Foundation! It was $34 at Sephora and the same price online and at Ulta so there's no price difference.
This is how the product looks in the container. I like the modern look to the packaging and I also like that its plastic. I've had bad experiences with glass foundation bottles and I get so tense when I drop one so I don't have to worry about this one breaking! I did a swatch at the store and it blended perfectly into my skin. There are about 9 shades for this foundation so it'll be a little difficult to find your skintone for that many shades. It also has a yellow tint to it which people HATE but I personally don't mind it because I have a slight yellow tint to my skin so no complaints here. Other than that I haven't tested it on my face yet but I will update this and tell you what I think!
This is the Benefit 'Some Kind-A Gorgeous' they describe it as: "...lightweight, translucent, foundation-like product" and it was $12. I consider it a concealer? Why go through all that trouble in describing a product that's as simple as one word? I DON'T GET IT, LOL.
I got this in medium and it blends out well on a swatch I did at the store. Goes on sheer but not for full coverage. Again, I'll update this once I wear it tomorrow!
This is the NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo and it was $41. You got to be careful with your spending with NARS because its super pricey. I've heard people say: "Because its runway makeup"! Honey, all high-end makeup is used for the runway and its not this pricey. NOT a big fan of NARS when it comes to eye shadows but their face products are good!
Left: Orgasm / Right: Laguna. I LOVE these colors, but use with primer. The swatches came out distorted and blurry, sorry :'/
This is my purchase from Walgreens! I bought three of the new Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti, Sweet Tart, and Sugar Frosting. Along with my go-to mascara 'The Falsies' by Maybelline. Lip Butters were $6.49 (I think?) and the mascara was on sale for $5 (again, I think?) LOL.
From bottom to top: Tutti Fruitti, Sweet Tart, and Sugar Frosting. I LOVE Tutti Fruitti, it is my favorite and it looks well with my skin tone. I like Sweet Tart as well, its a very pigmented pink but as for Sugar Frosting...Eh. Its barely a nude. Rather buy a glossy chapstick and call it even. As for the mascara it is my all time favorite so...yeah!
This is my purchase at Hollister, $38 for everything. The tanktops were on sale 2 for $20 and the t-shirt was on sale for $15 which is a very good buy from Hollister!
Ok, soooo...I love comic books. LOL, and I stopped by the comic book store with my brother to get some to read later ^^. I got the Mighty Thor issues 7 & 8 and Bart Simpson #70. I love the Simpsons! They make me laugh all the time xD As for Thor, he is my second favorite Super hero! First is tied by Iron Man and Dead Pool :3

YAYY! Absolute Boyfriend!! I'm so glad I found them to re-read since I'm watching the drama! I'm missing 1-3 because I let my friend borrowed them awhile back but I hope I can get them back soon *^*
That's it for my haul and randomness for today! Gonna watch me some dramas, play some Lengend of Zelda and RE4, and arrange all my make-up! LOL. Productive day? I think so! Thanks for reading :'D
