Sleepy Head
It's amazing that Steve can sleep under such hostile conditions. For one ,I type really loudly. Also, his window blinds are white and it's really bright in here. (It's not like Khristina's room, where it is as dark as a tomb...) There are also loud annoying people outside talking on their cell phones. If all of that isn't enough to wake him up, there are stupid GEESE outside. You know, those fuckers that are like 'honk honk honk honk '...Grrr. I hope Chris's scary ex-roommate kills them all someday.
On a sadder note, Steve disconnected the Goomba mouse. I swear, he is so Brokeback. If he's going to scorn the Goomba mouse in such a manner, I'll just give it a safe, happy home at my computer. I wish Steve would wake up...It's Spring Break ! We're supposed to be gettin drunk and high while fuckin' mad bitches. Such opportunity should not be wasted. I'm glad my constant 'studying' (cramming) paid off ; I didn't fail anything. I got a lot of B's though (2 A's 2 B's 1 C ), so I'll have to cram better for the next round of exams. This is one of my last chances to boost my gpa a little.
I finally started FF VII (yeah, I know I'm almost 10 years too late) ; I don't think Patrick realises how right he was when he said the characters resemble 'Legos'(tm). The blockiness is sorta annoying...I feel like they shoulda done sprite-based if this was the extent of their rendering capabilities. In a way, releasing this game was like releasing a new drug without FDA approval. Sure, it might work...and it's the first of its kind...but ...that doesn't mean that it's 'ready'. Also, Patrick, I've been meaning to tell you ; you might want to check out 'Tales of Legendia'. There are a nice number of anime cut-scenes (some fairly long ) and the animation was done by Studio Ghibli. They're quite pretty. It's a long game, though (we're at 70 hours and still haven't finished...) and it uses an active-time battle system. (Some people don't like ATB .)
