So, Steve took me to this mall called 'The Garden State Plaza'. The mall was so amazing. There was a Swatch store, a Vans store, a Tony Hawk store (ew. haha) and 75 Sam Goody's . All of those things were nice, but, there was also a mini
BEARD PAPA !!! Beard Papa is like, the best place ever. I've never been inside, or bought anything from it, but its name is Beard Papa, and every time I see one of them in the city it warms my heart with the happy picture of Beard Papa...with his beard and pipe.
Steve got me FFIV for gba as an early birthday present...It's amazing, so far. The music is as good as it can be, considering the venue, and they added a feature that lets you put Edward, Yang, Cid, Palom or Porom in your final party. Yay! I've renamed everyone with stupid names so far; Cecil + Rosa are "Steve and Beth", Rydia is "Penny " (Edge is going to be Chuckie) Edward is "Grant", and Yang is "Khrist." Patrick, you can be Tellah if you want since I didn't get to rename him yet. (Although I think with character limitations it would be "Patric" ...haha... how trendy. )
It's almost my birthday, yay !! I'm working from 2-10 today...I'm probably going to die from having to work so much. It's ridiculous. ;_; At least Steve is bringing me Subway. :D He brought me McDonald's yesterday, too, because he's the best. (Even though he slept through the time he was supposed to help me with my stupid Geology project...grrrr...)
Speaking of projects, my Japanese 'presentation' had to be the worst butchering of Japanese ever, because I did it in the hour before class...
Basically, my teacher stole a tv from a room, and I brought in the Super Famicom + played the Japanese Mario Kart. It was hard to read the speech that I actually prepared, so basically I would point at Mario and say:
"This is Mario. He is Italian. "
or point at Toad...
"This is Toad. His hat is a mushroom."
It had a complexity/variation in sentence structure at approximately the same level as a Wesley Willis song.
Everyone thought it was the funniest thing ever, but I'm not sure how my teacher's going to grade it.
At least I won the race.
